Maintenance Expert

It is crucial for our restaurants that all maintenance is up to date to make sure all operations runs smoothly and efficiently. The Maintenance Expert we are looking for is an person of all trades. He or she has experience with a variety of maintenance work. Such as carpeting, plumbing, electrical work and able to make small repairs efficient and long lasting.

This includes overseeing all aspects of repair, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and general upkeep across various systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and landscaping.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance to keep all equipment and facilities in optimal condition.

• Carry out repairs in areas including carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC systems.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from our restaurant and bar locations.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues.

• Ensure small repairs are completed efficiently and deliver long-lasting results.

• Maintain landscaping and outdoor areas to enhance the ambiance of our venues.

• Oversee or assist with renovation projects as needed.

• Keep accurate records of all maintenance tasks, including schedules and completed repairs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar maintenance role, preferably in the hospitality industry.

• Expertise in at least three of the following areas: carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC systems, or landscaping.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Physical fitness to handle hands-on work and lift equipment or materials as needed.

• Strong communication skills, with fluency in English (Papiamento and Spanish are a plus).

• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.

• Must have own transportation
