Kitchen Supervisor (Morning Shift) – Kokoa Restaurant & Bar

Do you have a passion for leadership in the kitchen and enjoy working in a dynamic beachside environment? Kokoa Restaurant & Bar is looking for an experienced and hands-on Kitchen Supervisor (Morning Shift) to join our team.


Located directly on the stunning Eagle Beach, Kokoa offers a unique all-day dining experience — from early breakfast service to vibrant evenings with live entertainment. As a Kitchen Supervisor in the morning shift, you play a key role in setting the tone for the entire day.


What will you do?

As a Kitchen Supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations during the morning shift, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency from the very start of the day.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and supporting the kitchen team during breakfast and early lunch service

  • Ensuring all dishes are prepared according to quality and presentation standards

  • Managing daily kitchen operations, including mise en place and preparation

  • Monitoring food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards

  • Assisting in inventory control and ordering of kitchen supplies

  • Training and guiding kitchen staff where needed

  • Ensuring a smooth handover to the afternoon/evening team

  • Working closely with management and service staff to maintain efficient operations

You will primarily work morning shifts, starting early to support breakfast service (from approximately 7:30 AM), which is a key part of the Kokoa experience.


Are you our perfect match?

The ideal candidate:

  • Has proven experience in a similar role (Kitchen Supervisor, Sous Chef, or Senior Line Cook)

  • Has strong leadership skills and knows how to motivate a team

  • Has experience with breakfast and lunch service in a fast-paced environment

  • Has solid knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards

  • Is organized, stress-resistant, and detail-oriented

  • Is proactive and able to work independently

  • Is flexible and willing to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays

  • Speaks English fluently (required)

Additional languages such as Spanish or Papiamento are a plus.
