Maintenance Manager

It is crucial for our restaurants that all maintenance is up to date to make sure all operations runs smoothly and efficiently. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the maintenance team, oversee all maintenance and repairs and ensure that the restaurants meet safety and quality standards.

This includes overseeing all aspects of repair, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and general upkeep across various systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and landscaping.

Job Summary

Our restaurants rely on seamless maintenance to keep operations running smoothly. As Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead a team ensuring all repairs and upkeep meet safety and quality standards. Your expertise will span HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and more. We’re looking for a proactive problem-solver with a technical background and team management experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Management

Ā Ā  - Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring high performance, adherence to safety protocols, and timely task completion.

Ā Ā  - Plan work for the team of maintenance technicians, follow-up on workflow and prioritize tasks

Ā Ā  - Manage staff schedules to ensure 24/7 coverage for emergency situations and efficient operation.


2. Maintenance Operations

Ā Ā  - Lead and coordinate daily maintenance operations to ensure the efficient operation of the facility and guest areas.

Ā Ā  - Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum guest satisfaction.

Ā Ā  - Maintain all major building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and structural components.

Ā Ā  - Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment, including guest room amenities, public areas, and recreational facilities.



3. Budgeting and Inventory

Ā Ā  - Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.

Ā Ā  - Track and maintain an inventory of all necessary supplies and parts, placing orders as needed while staying within budgetary constraints.

Ā Ā  - Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and sustainability practices.


Qualifications and Skills

-Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or related field preferred; trade certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical are an advantage.

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

- Technical Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting and repair of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in training and developing staff.

- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively with guests, staff, and contractors.

- Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify and address maintenance issues, often under time-sensitive conditions.

- Hands on mentality ; Besides managing the team, the ideal candidate is also able to do (small) fixes on the spot
