As a Food & Beverage (F&B) manager, you are responsible for multiple restaurants and oversee the team of employees working at these restaurants. Your passion lies in providing excellent service and ensuring that both guests and your team have a pleasant experience. As a F&B manager, you are part of the management team and collaborate closely with the restaurant manager, serving staff, and the kitchen. You serve as the link between the staff on the floor and the leadership staff. Your role involves delivering 5-star service, paying attention to detail, maintaining organization, and communicating clearly.
Your position
As a Food & Beverage Manager, you lead the F&B team, which includes the restaurant manager, supervisors, employees, and interns.
You perform coordinating and supervisory duties within the department, giving instructions to your colleagues and ensuring clear standard operating procedures.
You ensure compliance with hygiene regulations and (food) safety protocols.
You provide on-the-job guidance and training to (new) F&B employees and interns.
You oversee service levels, budgets, revenue, and expenses.
You are assertive and enthusiastic, continuously focusing on the development of both staff and menu items and activities.
In collaboration with the kitchen brigade, you create the new menu focused on the latest trends. The beverage menu (wines, cocktails) is also developed under your supervision.
In addition to these operational tasks, you also have administrative responsibilities.
